A yellow road marker leading to a power pole near a roundabout at Pinaroo Drive and Fernleigh Road could be the road to disaster, according to Rob Hibbard.

Mr Hibbard believes that only good fortune has prevented a serious injury or a fatality at the location.
He was so concerned for the safety of drivers that he took the measure of wrapping a high visibility vest around the power pole to alert drivers.
"The yellow marker needs to be moved over because you tend to follow it and it leads you straight to the power pole," Mr Hibbard said.
"I think it's a bicycle path next to the bright yellow lane marker and I'm concerned that a driver may be following it and be led into the power pole.
"It's a bit tricky when you're driving along there and I don't go that way often, but it startled me the first time I saw it.
"It could be dangerous for an inexperienced driver or someone with poor sight in low light or darkness and it would only take one driver going about 40km/h to hit it and it could be fatal."
The road in question is a part of council's multimillion-dollar 56-kilometre network of dedicated cycle paths, which when complete will connect various cycle routes across the city.

Calling for action to be taken to help avoid an accident, Mr Hibbard believes safety improvements were needed sooner rather than later.
"I can't understand why the people putting that marker in didn't see that it was leading straight to the pole," he said.
"It might take a fortnight to work out how to move the marker but it could save someone's life.
"How would you feel if it dragged on and this was going to be fixed and the week before it happened - someone got killed there."
The Daily Advertiser contacted Wagga City Council to ask if it had any concerns about the potential dangers Mr Hibbard had raised.
The council was specifically asked if it had any intention to inspect the location and make a decision whether it would be deemed unsafe and take any remedial action.
The council did not answer the questions, however a council spokesperson directed residents with concerns to contact its customer service team on 1300 242 442.
