The Kings Highway remains closed in both directions at Mulloon Creek, east of Bungendore, due to a bushfire. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and delay their journey. Braidwood Road is now open between Tarago and the Kings Highway. The Nerriga Road is also closed between Nerriga and the Kings Highway. The Princes Highway also remains closed at Wandandian between Wandean Road and Bendalong Road on the South Coast due to bushfire. Motorists are advised to avoid the area as there is no suitable alternative route available. Traffic already in the area is being turned around Turpentine Road, Wandean Road and Twelve Mile Road are also closed. The Hume Highway is now open in both directions at Tarcutta, east of Wagga Wagga, following a full closure due to a bushfire yesterday. Additionally, motorists travelling on the Bells Line of Road near Hartley Valley Road in Lithgow are advised to use extreme care due to heavy smoke which is reducing visibility on the Bells Line of Road as the result of a near by bush fire.
