In Australia, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men. We asked if you had the balls to help and we were overwhelmed with donations and the generosity of our community. The aim was to raise awareness and money to give prostate cancer the finger and we had a ball. At the Trundle Testicle Festival on Friday night we started with a talk from prostate nurse Lindy Ostini, we auctioned and raffled some amazing prizes, had a BBQ, the Boomers did a Full Monty, and we had a special guest appearance from Aunty Jack and a guessing competition at Bush Tucker Day. We are over $14000, and we are still counting! We had a great crowd and the Services Club was a sea of blue dancing to the great music and having a crack at cancer. Special thanks to our AGnVET blue crew and special guest Aunty Jack from Bushmans Tanks. If you remember the Aunty Jack Show, you are the right age to be having your PSA checked regularly.   Remember a PSA blood test is no poke. Special thanks to Trundle Central School who donated $95 from their Blue Day, a hand knitted rug courtesy of Trundle Day Centre made $200 at auction, the Men’s Shed BBQ raised $425, Alan Flavell & the Tullamore crew with a NRL Blues State of Origin signed jumper.   The mighty Trundle Boomers aided their grand final preparations by performing a Full Monty, passing the hat around for $345. The Bushmans Tanks blue water trough was auctioned twice. Goodsell Machinery owner Jason bidding and donating back to be auctioned again to make $1650 in total and Michelle Hood surprised us with a 3-night accommodation package at the Statesman Hotel in Canberra.     The fire buckets were highly sought after, thank you to Ron Jones & Peter Kelly of Trundle Auto Air for donating them.   Our auctioneer Rob Hellyer had bids thrown at him thick & fast and we thank him again. Also, a big thank you to our ticket sellers and the Bush Tucker Day courtesy bus.   Thank you to Trundle Services Club and their staff for a great night and a big thank you to Carolyn Keep and the Unite in Pink team for helping behind the scenes.
