Reddies showed why they are the favourites to win a second Southern Inland women's title in three years after taking a 49-5 win over their previously unbeaten rivals at Jarrah Oval on Saturday.
Coming off a less than impressive win over competition newcomers Hay, coach Andy Bedford was thrilled with how the side stepped up to the challenge of the top-of-the-table clash.
"They prepared really well, knew how hard it was going to be and went in knowing it was going to be the hardest game of the year," Bedford said.
"It all just fell into place for us.
"We haven't really got out of second gear, especially last week and the week before, but it was the first game I felt we put it together. Especially over the whole 40 minutes.
"They just put together a really good performance for the first time since we played Wagga City (in round three)."
Bedford thought playing a dry track also helped.
Tess Staines led the way, scoring six of her team's nine tries.
Bedford couldn't be happier with the Leeton product's impact after linking with the club this season.
"She is a superstar," he said.
"She just backs herself and backs her speed.
"Any half chance and she just goes for it 100 per cent and most of the time it pays off.
"Getting six tries is not a bad effort."
Ellen McIntyre also snared a double in the win.
Most of CSU's tries were long range efforts but Bedford was also pleased to see a couple where the team really utilised their ball movement.
CSU tackles winless Albury on Saturday in their final lead up finals.
Meanwhile Waratahs continued their winning form with a 63-14 win over Hay.
Anastacia Chambers scored a hat-trick while Andrea Kirkby and Holly Stephens snared doubles.
They moved into third place with a third straight week ahead of a clash with fourth-placed Wagga City while Leeton ran out 61-0 victors over Albury.
Emily Wright crossed three times for the Dianas while Alicia Sloan and Paris Crelley both scored two tries as the side brought up their second win of the season.
