The Wagga trainer has racked up a win in the past four meetings he's attended, and four of the last five horses he's saddled up.

The streak began at Wagga on October 16 with Pontmain, and victories for Revellers at Cootamundra, Kitzbuhel in a Highway Handicap at Randwick followed.

Participator continued Donnelly's strong run at Wagga on Friday with a dominant four-and-a-half length win.

Donnelly said he hasn't altered any of his training methods to produce his winning blitz, but is happy to lap up the success while it lasts.

"I've just had some good horses at the right time. I haven't changed a thing," he said.

"Two of the horses that have won recently wouldn't look out of place being trained in the city."

Donnelly has two runners at Corowa, Mongolian Brave in the Class 1 Handicap (1400m) and Sham in the Maiden Handicap (1600m).

Mongolian Brave finished 12^th of 14 runners at Wagga a fortnight ago, but Donnelly hopes a better draw and stepping up a furlong in distance will help.

"It's a weaker race meeting, so they're probably in the right races," Donnelly said.

"Mongolian Bay is at a distance that suits him. He's done it tough the past two races after being out wide, but this time he's drawn better.

"I think he'll run well, he looks well and probably the best he has this preparation.

"The other horse (Sham) even though his form is terrible (last and ninth in two career starts), he's actually shown me more than that on the track.

"He probably needs 2400 but he's drawn well this time and he's got blinkers on, we're hopeful of a better run anyway."
