Roger Phillip McGrath appeared via video link in Wagga Local Court on Wednesday, where his solicitor entered pleas of guilty to three charges.
In February, police arrested the 55-year-old man after they found him hiding under a bed, alleging that he kidnapped a woman and threw her down an embankment on the Snowy Mountains Highway.
Officers from Riverina Police District had attended the scene and performed a rescue with the assistance of the NSW State Emergency Service and NSW Ambulance paramedics.
A 75-year-old woman was retrieved safely but sustained bruising to her face and deep lacerations to her arms and legs and was taken to Wagga Base Hospital for treatment.
