Firefighting crews were called to the scene off Mimosa Drive at 9.55am on Wednesday.
Fire and Rescue Riverina Zone Commander Superintendent Stewart Alexander said crews had to go down a fire trail as it was "a fair way in the bush".
It took about 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze, but the car was completely destroyed.
Superintendent Alexander said any fire in the bush poses a danger as it can spread rapidly and threaten surrounding bushland and properties.

"We have been very fortunate this time that because of the wet weather that it didn't spread," he said.
"But during the warmer months, that could move very quickly and could cause significant damage to the bushland and the adjoining properties.
"If you become aware of a fire, call triple zero. It doesn't matter how many calls we get. If there is the slightest amount of doubt, call triple zero."
