The Blues will be out to avoid a third straight loss to start the Farrer League season when they host reigning premiers North Wagga at Coleambally.
Tipped to be the competition's big improvers this season, Coleambally has experienced an underwhelming start to the year. They lost to Charles Sturt University at home by 31 points in the season opener and then went down to The Rock-Yerong Creek by 51 points on the road last weekend.
"We're still trying to gel together a bit," Steele explained.
"I don't think there is any massive problems we're having, it's just a matter of gelling together.
"We've got a few things to work on, I don't think there is anything major."
North Wagga will also be out to bounce back on Saturday from last weekend's 13-point loss to East Wagga-Kooringal.
Making things harder for Coleambally will be the loss of Tom Groves (unavailable) for the weekend, while Dan Peruzzi and Steele himself are both carrying ankle injuries.

Steele, who declared he will play on despite the injury, believes the return of key defender Tom Morton will give the Blues the boost they are looking for.
"This is a must-win for us, especially at home," he said.
"Tom Morton is back this week and he's a four or five goal player for us down back. It's pretty hard when you're missing your general down back so it will be good to get him up and going again."
Steele labelled a couple of areas the Blues must improve in, but is also confident in his group that they will turn things around this weekend.
"We've got to be better at transitioning from attack to defence. We've been a bit slow to react," he said.
"We play good footy for 10-15 minutes each game and then it drops off and turns terrible, but we'll get there.
"This week I think there will be a big change. We trained a lot better on Tuesday night, it was the best we've trained all year so I'm confident we'll turn it around.
"Another thing we've got to work on is our starts. We've let in four or five goals in the first quarter and then we can't peg it back. So that start is pretty important.
"I'm pretty confident though that we'll start to put it together and play some good footy."
