A man accused of kidnapping a woman and throwing her down a four-metre drop off the Snowy Mountains Highway will face Wagga Local Court today.

NSW Police said the 54-year-old was discovered hiding under a bed in Talbingo yesterday, two days after the frightening ordeal.
Officers were alerted to the incident along the Snowy Mountains Highway at Talbingo about 3.30pm on Tuesday after a passerby witnessed the assault and called police.
Riverina Police District officers attended and performed a rescue with the assistance of the NSW State Emergency Service and paramedics from NSW Ambulance.

The 75-year-old woman was retrieved safely and taken to Wagga Base Hospital for treatment for bruising on her face and and deep cuts on her arms and legs.
Following inquiries, detectives attended a home on Elizabeth Avenue, Talbingo, about 5.45pm on Thursday, where they arrested a 54-year-old man who was hiding under the bed.
He was taken to Tumut Police Station and charged with a string of domestic violence offences as well as kidnapping.
Police will allege in court that the man was involved in an altercation with the woman, who is known to him.
Police will allege the man then dragged her to his car and drove along the Snowy Mountains Highway towards Talbingo Mountain, where she was forced out of the vehicle and down a four-metre embankment.
The man has been refused bail to appear in Wagga Local Court today.
He faces three domestic violence charges - occasion actual bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and destroy or damage property.
He was also charged with kidnap with intent commit serious indictable offence, and drive with a suspended licence.
