Riverina firefighters worked tirelessly from about 4.15pm onwards after the fire was located at a property on Mates Gully Road.
Multiple NSW Rural Fire Service brigades were dispatched, including 14 fire trucks and more than 30 firefighters, a heavy plant and Bomber 277, which was supported by the Riverina Aviation Brigade.
Due to the blaze being in close proximity to a rural property, several out buildings located on the farm were destroyed.
Firefighters remained on scene blacking out spot fires and embers into the evening ahead of Monday's high-risk fire conditions.
As at 9.40am on Monday, the fire was rendered under control, having burnt through 20 ha of land.
