POLICE have charged a man following investigations into an alleged ram-raid in Wagga last month.

A grey Holden Commodore sedan was allegedly stolen early in the morning of November 16 from a Downside home, north-west of Wagga.
About 4.45am the same day, the stolen Holden allegedly rammed the front of a service station on Tobruk Street, Ashmont, before a number of people allegedly ran inside the business, getting away with cash and cigarettes.
Officers from the Riverina Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding both robberies.
The vehicle was located at about 5.30am the same day well alight on McNickle Road, Wagga, completely destroying the vehicle.

Following extensive inquiries, a 19-year-old man was arrested at a licensed venue in Ashmont about 1.30pm on Sunday, December 13.
Riverina Police District Detective Inspector Adrian Telfer said the alleged offender tried to run from police but was apprehended a short time later.
"At the time of arrest he was found in possession of a small amount of drugs, a prohibited weapon being a baton, and some goods in custody which police suspect are stolen," he said.
He was taken to Wagga Police Station and charged with two counts of be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, and aggravated break and enter dwelling in company.
The Ashmont man was refused bail to appear in Wagga Local Court today.
Detective Inspector Telfer said police were still searching for others believed to be involved in the ram raid.
"Police believe there are at least another two people involved, if anyone has any information about their identities please come forward," he said.
