Wagga trainer Wayne Carroll was concerned about a wide alley but McDougall soon had the mare on the rails in the A&A Automatic Benchmark 58 Hcp (1300m).
She then found racing room in the straight to run down Dezzy and win by a long neck.
The win saw the mare go over the $100,000 in prizemoney mark.
She also improved her strong record at Corowa to two wins and a placings from four starts.
Carroll and McDougall also finished third with Rock 'N' Tori.
Meanwhile promising stayer Power Me Up broke its maiden in impressive fashion for Albury trainer Mitch Beer.
Power Me Up was narrowly beaten in its last run at Albury from barrier 13, but had no such trouble finding the winning post in its eighth start and fifth race for the Beer stable.
"Sometimes the maiden is the hardest one (to win)," Beer said.
"He's just learning his craft and that will give him a lot of confidence today.
"I really liked the way he not only hit the front, but really ran on with it."
Beer rated it "a 10 out of 10 ride" from non-claiming apprentice jockey Josh Richards.
