Bartlett will be Wagga's marquee player for Sunday's Regional Bash.
The talented all-rounder has brought Wagga undone playing for ACT Aces in their most recent clashes but will be out to replicate a breathtaking innings from the last time he lined up for them at Robertson Oval.
Bartlett made 117 to down Border Bullets in 2016 on their way to a SCG appearance.
The two sides will face each other again on Sunday.
Coach Shaun Perry is thrilled to have Bartlett back in the team.
"Having Ethan Bartlett back, who can now bowl in the side, is a big plus," Perry said.
Wagga City's Josh Thompson will take over as captain of the side.
Wagga Sloggers will tackle Border Bullets at 11am.
The winner will play the victor of the clash between Murrumbidgee Rangers and ACT Aces, which will be played at McPherson Oval, later that day.
The winner then progresses to the Regional Bash finals at the SCG.
Perry has made a couple of changes to their line up this week with Tom Doig coming out of the side.
Kooringal Colts recruit Hamish Starr has been given an opportunity despite not playing in Wagga yet after two wash outs.
Perry is pleased with how the team is shaping up for the Twenty20 competition.
"The side we've got there is pretty good," Perry said.
"The only people missing are Jono (Nicoll) and Bolts (Dave Bolton) and I don't know if they are actually suited that well to T20 cricket.
"You want young blokes who can get around the field a bit."
At this stage Victorian-based players are unable to take part for the Bullets, with the border bubble only extending to Henty.
