However reinsman Blake Jones isn't convinced it will suit the three-year-old.
Forever Yin resumes in the heats of the lucrative series at Griffith on Tuesday after taking on the best three-year-olds in the state.
He didn't have much luck in the top grade and Jones is pleased with how he comes into the race.
"Forever Yin is probably going to be a little bit short of a run as he's not fully wound up yet but off his trials he's going good enough to be pretty competitive," Jones said.
"If you go off the trial form it isn't too bad and his trial at Leeton was probably stronger."
However the barrier is a worry with the horse who has never been really been asked to come off the arm.
"The draw is probably not ideal as he's never had much gate speed," Jones said.
"He can come out with them but I'm not sure if we can hold them and could end up getting buried on the fence but hopefully we are not too far back."
Jones and partner Ellen Bartley also line up Geldof in the first of the two heats.
After winning two of his first three races after returning to the stable, Geldof is coming off a last place finish in the West Wyalong Cup.
Jones believes he will be suited by the shortest distance and also be a gear alteration.
"It was probably a little bit our fault as he put the ears plugs in him at West Wyalong just to make sure he didn't get stirred up over the long trip and he didn't show any gate speed at all," he said.
"Normally we don't race him in any so he was probably too relaxed at the start and if he had of come out, get to the fence and sit on one of the better chances he probably finishes a lot closer."
However he is looking for luck after drawing barrier seven.
"The big fella will have to be driven for luck from the draw as Harry Ovens looks the leader," Jones said.
"If we sit there three fence we should qualify for the final.
"We mightn't get out in time to win it but if we qualify for the final I'll be happy enough with that.'
Bartley and Jones also have Heza Blaster in the maiden heats.
Jones expects the recent acquisition will be better suited this time around after drawing barrier two.
"It is probably more suitable than the other day and he didn't have much luck late," he said.
"He was sorta off the bit at the 400 but then was running over the top of them at the end."
They also line up Classic Beesmack for the first time after a second at Parkes last time out.
Jones also drives the resuming Heart Attack Stack.
