The incident saw a 29-year-old man attend a home on Hunter Street, Mount Austin, on July 31 after he was invited by a woman he met through a dating app.
On arrival, the man was allegedly threatened with a knife and robbed, before being forced into a car and taken to a second home.
Police have been told the man was kept in the home for about seven hours and forced to pay for petrol, before escaping on foot and fleeing to a nearby service station.
Officers from Riverina Police District commenced inquiries into the incident a short time later, establishing Strike Force Bock.

So far investigations have seen police arrest an 18-year-old man and 22-year-old woman, who were charged and remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, a 56-year-old man was arrested on Fitzhardinge Street, Wagga, about 10.45am on Tuesday.
He was taken to Wagga Police Station and charged with detain person with intent to obtain advantage and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm.
The Mount Austin man was granted strict conditional bail to appear in Wagga Local Court on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
