Brilliant weather and entertaining contests proved the perfect recipe as finals were conducted under AFL Riverina's major facility COVID safety plan for the first time.
Some 1278 tickets were sold to Saturday's second semi-final between Wagga Tigers and Leeton-Whitton, with another 1188 purchased for the first semi-final between Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong and Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes on Sunday.
It was conducted through online ticket sales for the first time and took place without any major issues.
"We were happy with how the two days went," AFL Riverina football operations coordinator Tom Walker said.
Already more than 700 tickets for Saturday's preliminary final have been sold.
Tickets for the grand final will go on sale next Monday at 10am with only 1600 available for purchase.
