Police have launched investigations after post boxes were smashed and a signpost was damaged during a spate of vandalism over the weekend.

A vehicle drove over a no-parking sign outside of Kooringal Mall, knocking the signpost askew and leaving large tyre tracks in the dirt.
Wagga Police Inspector Adrian Telfer said they were investigating the incident and urged residents to keep their eyes peeled for information.
"I am aware there was some damage to public property along Lake Albert Road and possibly overnight so if anyone is out there who does have information we urge them to come forward."
"This is a destructive act and costs a lot of money to replace these things. Don't know at this stage if it was random or targeted, but I have observed them myself that someone has walked along or ridden a push bike along Lake Albert Road and caused a fair bit of damage."
