Emergency services were called to the blaze at 4.30am.
Fire and Rescue senior firefighter Ben Wood said the house was engulfed by flames when crews arrived and could not be saved.
"The fire was burning through the roof and the home was totally destroyed," he said.

Mr Wood said the first priority was to protect the neighbouring properties by containing the fire to the structure of origin.
The blaze was contained almost four hours after crews arrived at the scene.
Mr Wood said the occupants, who lost all their belongings, were not home at the time of the fire. He said no one was injured by the blaze.
He said the cause of the fire was unknown at this stage.
