Mater Dei came from 10-0 down at half-time to overrun Kildare 17-10 in the second round of the competition at Conolly Rugby Park on Thursday.
It continues an undefeated start to the competition for Mater Dei.
Kildare fly-half Bryce Hay caused havoc for the Mater Dei defence early and with the help of some dominance in the ruck, they raced to an early 10-0 lead.
But strong performances from Bryce Magnone and full-back Angus Curry helped Mater Dei orchestrate an impressive second half comeback.
Mater Dei coach Ben Brooke was proud of his team's efforts to come back and win.
"It was a game of two separate halves really," Brooke said.
"Kildare came out flying at the start and really built up some momentum really quick, which was a bit of a shock for our guys.
"It was good once we came around in the second half. We slowed things down in the second half and a few of our players got going, which was good."
Brooke said the result will give Mater Dei confidence for the rest of the competition.
"It was good to have a win against Kildare and good to have a tough game for our second game in the competition," he said.
"It showed we've still got some big things we want to work on but it was good to get an indication of where we need to improve and still come out on top."
