The annual Bing Wallder Shield was set to attract the best bowlers from across Zone Eight but has been cancelled due to forecast of severe thunderstorms.
Zone Eight publicity officer Bryce Rayner said the decision was made at the request of a number of districts.
"This weekend the 2nd and 3rd November the annual Bing Wallder Shield and Officials Trophy was due to be played," Rayner said.
"With reports of wild weather including severe thunderstorms and wind forecast for the Wagga area and upon the request of a number of districts it was decided the cancel the Bing Wallder for 2019.
"Hopefully we will be back bigger and better next year."
The six districts from across Zone Eight, - Albury, Riverina, Southern Highlands, South Western, Southern Slopes and Wagga - were all down to take part in the event that was to be held across Wagga RSL and The Rules Clubs.
Wagga and District were chasing a fourth straight win in the Bing Wallder Shield.
