Hayden Watling and Billy Glanvill have been called into the undefeated side to take on Wagga RSL at Wagga Cricket Ground on Saturday.
Stand-in captain Joel Robinson is looking forward to giving both the opportunity to step up for the premiership favourites.
"Billy scored some runs a couple of weeks ago and got another little score on the weekend so he's definitely doing everything right to push his case to play," Robinson said.
"Hayden came over last year to play juniors for us and has been training with the seniors all this year and a little bit of last year and definitely shows a lot of promise.
"He's played a lot of rep stuff as well so it's definitely exciting to give him an opportunity."
Watling travels over from Tumut twice a week to train and play for the Blues.
He joined the club last season looking to step up his game.
The 15-year-old can't wait for his shot at first grade.
"It should be fun," Watling said.
"I came over to get a bit more of an opportunity to make further rep sides."
Watling has been playing under 16s and second grade for the Blues and admitted he surprised to be called into a team who have been travelling so well to start the season.
"I was a bit surprised," he said. "I've been playing seconds usually so getting the first grade call up was pretty good."
Despite having to spend plenty of time on the road, the year nine student Tumut High School student has been enjoying his time at the club.
"It's been real good making new friends along the way and just having fun with mates playing cricket," Watling said.
The young pace bowler comes into the side for Nathan Cooke while Glanvill comes in for another teenage talent Jake Scott.
South Wagga have won all four of their matches while Wagga RSL have recorded two wins and two losses so far to sit in third.
Robinson is looking for consistency to extend their strong start.
"If we keep performing with bat and ball the results will look after themselves," he said. "We've just got to make sure we keep turning up and putting our best foot forward."
