Students representing seven different schools mix together, organising themselves for their big moment on stage, performing for an almost-sold-out theatre as part of the 2019 Mayoress 'Supernova' Concert.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards funding Wagga's Carevan. Since its establishment in February of this year, 2000 hot meals have been provided to the city's struggling.
Two performance - a matinee and an evening - took place on Saturday, following a full day's dress rehearsal and weeks of preparation.
"All schools were invited to perform, and most did take up the invitation," said mayor Greg Conkey, husband of the concert organiser Jenny Conkey.
The inclusion of two particular schools was of special note to the mayor and mayoress.
Willans Hill School provided djembe percussion in the opening number, The Greatest Show.
Shepherd's Park School, at the Juvenile Justice Centre, provided the welcome to country, and debuted their original song and film clip, My People.
"There is a lot of talent among them all, as Jenny keeps saying 'see them now before they're famous'."
