Trips to take on the Blacks haven't always proved fruitful for the university club, but the Wagga side continues to tick off targets.
Coach Will Mitchell admitted the 39-17 win wasn't their best performance of the season but they did more than enough to bring up their fifth win from six games.
"It was physical but what gets us over the line is the boys who have played together in structures," Mitchell said. "We had most of the ball in the first half but our execution was very poor.
"We were in their half for most of it but just couldn't finish and their defence scrapped really well."
Ag College led 10-5 at half-time before being given a "rev up" by Mitchell.
They responded quickly with a try to Ben Brooke before Charles Callaghan, Sam Chalmers and Mackenna Cusack all scored late to ensure the victory.
Sam Lemmich put in a big effort after Gabe Brown went down early with an elbow issue.
After playing second grade, Lemmich then played another 75 minutes in first grade at prop.
Brooke, Callaghan and Matt Harris were also strong through the forward pack.
Griffith coach Craig Morriss was disappointed the side who has only won once failed to close out another game against one of the real title contenders for a second week running.
"We just aren't doing the one-percenters enough to tick the game off," Morriss said.
"Aggies are a quality team, and the boys did the best they could, but we have to improve.
"We have to focus on our ball control, our work in the ruck and just our fitness to try and stop us falling away at the end. We have to find something to stop the gaps and stop the leaks."
