Just over 12 months ago, the Bulldogs shocked the Tigers at Anzac Park but there was certainly no repeat effort this time around.
Instead the premiers dictated terms.
Coach Adam Perry was pleased to score another win.
"Everyone chipped in and did their bit," Perry said.
"Obviously Coota are struggling a little bit at the moment and we've still got a few areas of improvement but it was good."
Mathew Lyons continued his strong start at Gundagai with a double to help the Tigers to sit on top of the ladder board after four rounds.
Perry believes the side is building well.
"We still have a lot of areas to get better at but each week when we are working on different areas at training the boys seem to take that into the game," he said.
"It's just a matter of making sure at the end of the season we are putting all those things together."
Gundagai tackle another team yet to win this season, Brothers in a rematch of last year's preliminary final at Equex Centre on Sunday.
Meanwhile the Bulldogs face another big task looking to tackle a rebounding Tumut outfit coming off their first loss at the hands of Southcity.
