The Blues are the only side to win all three games to start the season after a 30-6 win over Junee on Sunday but they've got plenty of injury worries.
Co-coach Dean Bristow, Jason Webb and the unavailable Austin McDougall all missed the win at Laurie Daley Oval, joining Lachlan Bristow and Josh Webb, who are yet to play a game this season, on the sidelines.
To make matters worse the Blues lost co-coach Adam Pearce to an ankle injury in the second half.
While Bristow is confident he will be right to play Southcity at Twickenham on Sunday, there is plenty of concern over Pearce.
"It didn't look or sound real good so we will be sweating on some scans with him," Bristow said.
"I daresay he will be pushing it to be right for this week, which is a big loss."
While the Blues scored another big win, Bristow wasn't all that impressed with the performance against a Diesels outfit with even more injury worries.
He thought they didn't make the most of their dominance through the middle.
"It was much the same as a couple of weeks ago - we stooped down to their level a bit after dominating the game," Bristow said.
"We really struggled to put it on the scoreboard."
One thing that has been pleasing Bristow is the Blues defence.
They've only let in 24 points so far this season, including just six in their past two games.
He's just hoping their attack starts to click better.
"Our defensive effort is really good," he said.
"There was one bit of a fortuitous try to them but we turned them away all day but we're struggling to get any rhythm in the game.
"Our middle third is really, really good, I don't think there are many how can compete with his there, but we are just struggling to take some of the dominance off the back them.
"We are marching down the field pretty well, getting to good spots but just aren't maintaining any pressure or playing any good football off the back of it."
