Dooley and the Bulls ran riot with a 86-6 win at Les Boyd Oval.
After scoring five tries for the Bulls two seasons ago, the fullback had to wait until the final minute to level Peter Little's mark but managed to crash over.
He was pleased with the big day out.
"It was good," Dooley said.
"The boys were egging me on at the end as I think it's a record for Southcity."
However the fullback didn't want to take all the credit for the spectacular display.
"They were mostly teams tries," Dooley said.
"I scored three backing up plus a couple of my own."
He was just the pleased to contribute to another win.
Dooley was the competition's leading tryscorer last season and heads the list after the first three rounds courtesy of scoring a hat-trick against Junee before the Easter break.
He is three clear of Gundagai's Mathew Lyons.
Captain-coach Kyle McCarthy was understandably impressed with his efforts.
"He is probably the best support player in the comp," McCarthy said.
"If we are half a chance anywhere it is either him or Rosey there backing you up."
Usaia O'Sullivan brought up a hat-trick while Nathan Rose crossed for a double in his return from injury.
Nick Skinner missed the clash after aggravating a groin injury at training during the week.
McCarthy is hoping he will be right for the big clash with Tumut at Twickenham on Sunday.
"He inflamed that on Tuesday, tried to train on Friday but it blew up on him so we just left him out to try and keep him for Tumut next week," he said.
"Hopefully he is right as we won't have Jeansy (Hayden Jeans).
"We will be light on if Skin is out."
