Wagga City bowled the Bulls out for 86 last week before declaring five down with an 111-run lead.
Lake Albert have already lost two wickets in their second innings and assistant coach Matt Tansey is hoping a stronger performance can give the club some much needed momentum heading into finals.
"It's just about putting our best foot forward this week and seeing what we can get out of the game in preparation for next week," Tansey said.
"They obviously outplayed us last week but we will start again this week."
Tansey is looking for the side to bat time with plenty of work to do to salvage something for the clash.
"If we bat time we will make runs so the key thing is to bat for as long as we can," he said.
The Bulls will be without Tom Doig for the second half of the match.
They hope Alex Smeeth will return for the first week of finals next weekend.
