Quick to stress the event in early February was neither a "car show nor a show'n'shine" organiser Howard Brown said it was a gathering of like-minded old school car lovers.
Held over the weekend of February 2, the public was encouraged to come by Wagga Caravan Park to see close to 200 cars that had travelled from as far as Phillip Island and Brisbane.

"For me, the standouts were how far people travelled to be there," said Mr Brown.
"There was a 1959 Chevrolet Kingswood Wagon, we call the 'longroof', that had travelled all the way from Brisbane.
"A bloke in a 1940s custom Buick also happened to be driving from Sydney to Queenscliff for another car event, and he saw something on social media about our get together so he wheeled his way over to Wagga."
Through the gold coin donation collected on Saturday afternoon, the event managed to raise $1042.65, which was given in entirety to Wagga's CanAssist branch.
"It was a bit unexpected that we'd raise that much, we really didn't know what kind of support we'd get from the public," said Mr Brown.
"I think [CanAssist] were pretty stoked with it, they were expecting something like $500 or $600 but to see we reached over $1000 was great."
Preparations are now in the works for the 2020 gathering of car enthusiasts, and with 12 months still to go, the newer, larger venue is almost booked out.
"There's talk there's going to be five or six from Brisbane and the guy from Adelaide he's bringing another four or five, so it's going to be big."
