South Wagga were at 1-56 after 15 overs chasing 242 for victory when rain forced a draw at Rawlings Park Turf on Sunday.
The Blues are down to second after Wagga City went back around them after their win over Kooringal Colts.
The Bulls resumed at 8-214 and put on a valuable 27 runs with Lachie Skelly (14) and Tom Doig (seven not out) frustrating the Blues until the 96th over.
Earlier Danny Webber (55) and Jesse Hampton (44) put on 104 for the opening partnership while Alex Smeeth (52) was the last man dismissed on Saturday.
Nathan Cooke (4-45) and Adam Skow (3-26) were the best of the Blues’ bowlers while captain Jeremy Rowe (40 not out) looked in good touch before the weather set in.
South Wagga are now a point behind Wagga City with Lake Albert three points clear of both St Michaels and Kooringal Colts in third.
