Muscle Factory ($11.90) stormed straight to the front and ran his rivals ragged to claim the $200,000 feature by four metres in a mile rate of 1:54.0.
“It was obviously very exciting and we’re very grateful to be able to have the opportunity to be involved with such an amazing animal,” Kahlefeldt said.
Muscle Factory was one of the first handful of horses that Kahlefeldt bred himself.
He and wife Danya retained a share in the ownership when Muscle Factory was purchased by clients of the Shane and Lauren Tritton stable as a two-year-old.
It was Muscle Factory’s second group one victory after taking out the Albion Park Gold Brisbane Sales Graduate 2YO Final last August.
Muscle Factory’s next target will be the NSW Derby on March 2.
