Olsson was reported twice by the Match Review Panel (MRP) for striking Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes’ Jake Whitley in last Sunday’s game at Ganmain Sportsground.
Olsson took the early guilty plea on both matters and cops a one-game suspension.
Both incidents took place in a first quarter melee. The first report was graded as careless, high and low impact, for which he accepted a reprimand.
He took a one-game suspension for the second report that was graded as intentional, high and low impact.
He will miss Sundays game against Griffith. The Swans are undefeated and the Lions are fourth, but come into the game in great form after toppling MCUE last Sunday.
It also rules Olsson ineligible for this year’s Jim Quinn Medal.
