Wagga trainers Wayne Carroll, Tim Donnelly and Gary Colvin all enjoyed victories on their home track in what was a very competitive day's racing.
Leading Southern District trainer Mitch Beer also chimed in, winning a hotly-contested Union Club Hotel Showcase Class Three Handicap (1200m) with Mnementh ($11).
Donnelly predicted a bright future for Whenitrainsitpours ($6.00) after she took out the Diageo Australia Showcase 3YO Maiden Plate (1200m) at just her second start.
Purchased and raced by MTC treasurer Brett Bradley, Whenitrainsitpours led all the way for Mathew Cahill, defeating a gallant Smarter Than You ($10) and $1.65 favourite Titled.
Donnelly believes the Your Song filly has 'upside' and will eventually get further than the 1200m.
"We're going to give her a bit of a break now and let her mature," Donnelly told Sky Racing after the race.
"She's done a good job. She's had a second and a win, showcase meeting, BOBs, she's done a good job and it's a good time to head out now with a bit of spring.
"She's got a bit of upside."
Whenitrainsitpours ran second on debut at Wagga, behind Mathrin, who went on to win at Albury again last week.
Once Cahill found the front on the three-year-old, Donnelly thought she would give a big sight.
"I think the other day she had to do a bit of work to get across and the winner did win again, that's always a good sign," he said.
"I just thought once she got across, with the experience from the other day, she had come ahead since her last run, I was confident she would run well."
Colvin's win came courtesy of Carnival Miss ($17) in the Kosciuszko Tickets On Sale 4YO & Up Maiden Plate (1200m).

The four-year-old mare, out of Miss Bemuse, downed Then ($31) and Twig ($4.40). The maiden win came at her ninth career start.
"It was frustrating. She ran fourth at Narrandera (two starts back) and I thought, gee this is going to be nice, she can go to Wagga and she just did nothing (last start)," Colvin said.
"I was bamboozled. I thought she'd run a big race. She's done today what I thought she was going to do last start.
"She's shown ability to do something like that."
Shaun Guymer rode Carnival Miss to victory, for a big group of connections, headed by breeder Ron Bramich.
Wayne Carroll struck with Miss Elsie May ($3.10) in the Horsepower Innovations Showcase Class One Handicap (1000m).
It was her second first-up win since joining Carroll.
