About 16 per cent of all the random drug tests yielded suspected positive results.
On Friday, officers attached to Riverina Police District conducted a Road Safety operation targeting drug and alcohol affected drivers.
"As a result of the operation, 115 random breath tests were conducted, along with 43 random drug tests," a Riverina Police District statement said.
" A 25 year old male was arrested for driving with the high range prescribed concentration of alcohol (0.171), and seven drivers were arrested for secondary oral fluid testing.
"Police will await the results of the oral fluid tests prior to legal action being taken."
In other news
Police also issued 16 infringement notices for various traffic related offences.
"Police will continue to improve road safety through targeted enforcement, by conducting random breath testing, mobile drug testing, and targeting high-risk behaviours," a Riverina Police District statement said.
