The centre will include a circuit training room and a functional training room with around 10 group classes per day.
The Wagga gym will be part of incoming HomeCo shopping complex, a large scale redevelopment to replace the failed Masters franchise.
The Wagga Masters site has sat empty and abandoned for over five years, however it was acquired by HomeCo in 2016.

"The proposal will reinstate the jobs that were lost with the closure of Masters on 11 December 2016," they said.
"The proposed recreation facility will encourage a mix of business uses that will service the needs of the Wagga Wagga public."
The developers had initially planned to reopen the site as a HomeCo complex in 2017, however that date was later pushed back to June of 2021.
The main anchor tenant, Spotlight, is due to open its doors this week, however much of the old Masters site remains empty.
The Daily Advertiser asked HomeCo when they could expect to open the centre, however they did not respond at time of publication.
The developers did not say what other shops would be coming to the centre, but they did previously suggest they would include a cafe and a shop that was "medical" in nature.
The other pre-existing shops, which include a PetStock and an Anaconda, are already open for business.
The complex covers 150,000 square metres in total, with 391 parking spaces.
