After a win over Tumut in round two the Wagga club has now lost games to Young, Southcity and Gundagai to sit on the cusp of the top five.
Their lone win was a scrappy effort against Temora last week and coach Simon Woolford rued a lack of execution after being held scoreless by Gundagai in the second half at Equex Centre on Saturday.
"We made all the schoolboy errors you could think of," Woolford said.
"We dropped it off the kick off, we kicked it out on the full, ran it out over the sideline on play one - just schoolboy stuff.
"When you play the good teams you are not going to be good enough to win making all those errors.
"The ones we made in good ball in the first half and in the second half were early in the tackle count so we continued to let them off the hook, built no pressure and in the end we got what we deserved."

The Wagga side has been guilty of struggling to play out full games so far this season.
However they were able to hang tough with the Tigers in the opening stanza as they responded twice to Jack Elphick tries in the first 20 minutes.
Craig Field hit back from an 80-metre intercept try to level things at 6-all after 13 minutes before Zac Graham took advantage of some loose marker defence to lead 12-10 at half-time.
Kangaroos have the bye before a clash with Young at Laurie Daley Oval on June 6.
Woolford admitted the bye isn't at the best time for the side.
"It is disappointing we don't get to fix it this week but we'll have a look at the game and get on with it," he said. "It doesn't get any easier next game against Young.
"We've been talking about things for a few weeks now and we're still getting some things wrong and some individuals are still getting their jobs wrong."
Kangaroos were buoyed by the return of Jake Mascini at fullback however lost halfback Liam Fitzsimmons to an ankle issue.
Simione Naiduki also came off with an ankle issue while Luke Ingram picked a ribs complaint.
