Amy Kubank is just one Wagga musician who will be performing at Fitz Fest, and she cannot wait.
"It's an absolutely incredible experience," she said.
"We need more things like this in Wagga. It's amazing to see all the venues coming together to create spaces for artists."
Ms Kubank has been performing for about nine years, but in the last two has committed to creating her own music.
And, it's those songs she will be sharing from 12.30pm at the Curious Rabbit.
Phoebe Pinnock, the organiser of Fitz Fest, said the event focuses on regional artists close to Wagga.
"It's going to go for 12 hours starting at 11am at the Curious Rabbit and finishing up at 11pm at Meccanico," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We have a diverse range of performers. We have young soloists, electric duos, and amazing rock bands that are going to be blasting tunes at the Thirsty Crow.
"It's going to be completely free thanks to a grant from Wagga City Council."
Ms Pinnock said the event was inspired by the 2018 Fitz Live, which was incredibly popular.
"[Fitz Fest] focuses on the music venues but is something that can hopefully be sustainable for the long term," she added.
"You can have coffees in the morning, and you can have lunch somewhere such as Romanos or CAVE and then beers at the Thirsty Crow - all while enjoying some amazing music."
Curious Rabbit owner Vickie Burkinshaw said the event was the perfect example of Wagga businesses and artists working together.
"That's been the beautiful thing out of COVID if anything else, we have been working hard together to lift each other up and support these wonderful musicians who have been waiting and waiting to get back out," she said.
"I love the energy that is being created. Any part of the day, something is amazing is going to be happening."
Mayor Greg Conkey said Wagga is a party city that missed out last year because of COVID, but now the party is returning.
"It's a great way to help revitalise this end of the city .. so come out and enjoy it," he said.
