A flood boat team and a swift water tech travelled to the NSW Central Coast on Monday and have already assisted in a vehicle accident operation.
It's expected that the team will stay on the Central Coast for at least the next week.

Captain of the Wagga VRA, Jodie Carter said more of the city's 15 members could be flexed to the coast if the situation continues to deteriorate.
"We need to keep some here to look after motor vehicle accidents or situations here in Wagga," Captain Carter said.
"But we are willing to send more if needed. We're available until we're no longer needed."

Meanwhile, in Wagga overnight State Emergency Services (SES) have responded to two call-outs in the Mount Austin and Tolland areas.
Unit commander for the Wagga SES Jason McDonell said one crew responded to two separate reports of water leaking into homes. One was called in at 3.10am and the other at 4.45am on Tuesday.
It follows a busy weekend as SES crews responded to reports of fallen trees around Wagga.
