The Jubilee Park track hosted a memorable day out for the school, from egg-and-spoon and sack races for infants through to the older, more serious contenders.
Anticipation is building for the age champions, yet to be revealed at an upcoming assembly.
.Wambina was the winning house on the day, ahead of Mawang.
"It was a great day, the kids all enjoyed themselves and there were new timing gates on the day," carnival coordinator Mitchell Trott said.
"They worked really well. It was good sunny weather and a really good day."
The younger stage one students were included, with long jump and a 70m sprint as well as their novelty events, and parents on the hill to cheer them on in the introductory events.
