Kooringal will start firm favourites, having beaten Wagga High 12-1 in the first match of the round robin competition.
Moreover no less than seven of their likely starting nine were members of the Riverina Combined High Schools Softball team which performed strongly at the recent Inter-Regional Championships.
Saints player Jess Wild, is the most experienced of a young team which has Makaide Gale, Alex Maiden Kealey Bettens and Josie Thornely, all Turvey Park team mates, in good batting form.
Talented duo Kayla Horne and Isabella Cooper have also shown good form in offence throughout the competition.
By contrast, Wagga High has only three Riverina representatives, namely Leila Wadley, Sophie Gooden and Taya Richards and they will be relied upon to lead the way and show their teammates how it's done.
Much will depend on how Wagga High's pitcher, Isabella Weir, can contain the strong batting of Kooringal, and how well, moreover, the Wagga High bats can find the gaps in the field.
The final will be played at French Fields on Tuesday, and is scheduled to begin at 5.15pm.
Prior to that will be the third/fourth playoff between Mater Dei College and The Riverina Anglican College, starting at 4.30pm.
