With their season on the line, St Michaels proved no match for the minor premiers after posting 7-189 at Robertson Oval on Saturday.
Blake Harper again came to the fore, scoring an unbeaten 67 in the seven-wicket win.
With Brayden Ambler (47) and captain Luke Gerhard (44 not out) also contributing in the comfortable chase, Gerhard is pleased with how the side is tracking.
"It is always good to get a bit of momentum heading into finals and they had a lot on the line," Gerhard said.
"They threw everything at us, a couple of them batted pretty well but we bowled well and definitely improved in the field from last Sunday's efforts.
"Hopefully we can take some momentum into the big game next week."
Adam Whitbread continues to make the most of his chance in first grade, after snaring 3-31.
