With matches against Wagga RSL and Wagga City this weekend, captain Beck Frostick is eyeing off at least one win to keep themselves in the hunt.
Saints are only two points behind Wagga RSL but are one of three teams locked on 18 points three rounds out from finals.
With a clash against ladder leaders South Wagga to come next week, Frostick is looking to turn things around quickly.
"We need to win two of the three so that starts this Saturday if we want to make finals," he said.
"It was very disappointing against a Kooringal side who were better on the day.
"I thought we should have beaten them but that's cricket."
Saints will be buoyed by the return of spearhead Dave Garness.
Garness leads the charge for the club and his return is a big bonus.
"He's back, ready and raring to go," Frostick said.
"He's more keen than anyone and I expect nothing less than David to perform as he is the top class bowler in Wagga Cricket when he is on."
The return of Garness sees the side at full strength for the weekend.
