The Bulldogs are in third but only two points separate four sides looking to take the two remaining finals places.
Both their rivals this weekend, Kooringal Colts and St Michaels, are just below them on the ladder and captain Sam Perry is hoping some strong performances can lock in their place before the final round next week.
"It's definitely a massive weekend for us but also the other three teams below us," Perry said.
"We all play each other at some point and after Saturday you will be able to see if teams have a bit more breathing room or it could still be very tight.
"Saturday is crucial for all four clubs."
However the Bulldogs will be far from full strength to take on Saints at Wagga Cricket Ground on Saturday with Perry, Charlie Cull, Matt O'Neill and Joe Kenny all out.
Ben Willis, Alex Manley and Judd McLeod came into the side however Perry will return to take on Colts at Harris Park on Sunday.
