Maddie Miller and Mike Ball lost their Bourkelands home to a fire on Saturday morning, and Kylie Bean from the Busy Bean Cafe has been at work ever since to put together a fundraiser auction.
Ms Bean put the call out for local businesses to donate goods, services and vouchers to be auctioned off in a couple of weeks, to help the couple with everything from everyday household items to larger expenses as they begin to pile up.
She has set up a Facebook page for the auction, where announcements of donations from local businesses are flooding in.
Among the items on the list so far are the cafe's sushi, sandwich and fruit platters, cupcake boxes from Lilly G's Sweet Treats, earrings from Aka Handmade and vouchers from businesses including the Roundabout Restaurant and Personalise That.
Ms Bean said one of the "big ticket items" was the opportunity to sit in a race car for a day of racing with Laurel Ball Motorsport.

She said many businesses and friends had made generous offers to help, and the response from local businesses had been positive.
"It's amazing how good the community can be," Ms Bean said.
For those who may not be able to bid on the items, Ms Bean said both the Kooringal and Central Wagga Busy Bean cafes would be donating $1 of each coffee sold to the couple, and donation tins would be on the counters.
Ms Miller's mother works at the cafe, and Ms Bean said through that connection she'd gotten to know the couple as kind, generous and the type to give to those in need.
"They're a very lovely family, very caring," she said.
"They have had a tough two years."
Businesses wanting to contribute to the auction can visit or call the Kooringal cafe or message the cafe or fundraiser Facebook pages.
A GoFundMe has also been set up for the couple.
