It follows the NSW Public Health Order making masks compulsory in all of the state's airport facilities.
From Tuesday, masks must be worn in the passenger waiting area and during all domestic commercial flights in NSW.
An on-the-spot fine of $200 will be issued for anyone not wearing a face mask.
Children under 12 are exempt from the rule but are encouraged to wear a mask where practical.
Masks should not be worn by anyone under the age of two as it presents a choking and suffocation risk.
Wagga City Council director of regional activation, Michael Keys, said the new rule is to ensure the safety of all staff and community members within the facility.
"We want to ensure people continue to have access and the confidence to travel when they need to and that everyone is appropriately protected," Mr Keys said.
"Council thanks community members for their understanding and continued support."
