The Daily Advertiser's photographer Emma Hillier was trackside to capture all the action at Tumut Turf Club's biggest race meet for the year.
Tumut Turf Club secretary Alicia Hargraves said organisers were "absolutely stoked" with the event, which hosted five separate races throughout the day.
"Last year it was so hot and smoky, this year it was such a clear day," she said.

"We've got some of our committee members that are RFS members, and considering where everyone was earlier this year with COVID, we were really happy to be able to host such a successful Boxing Day."
Mrs Hargraves said racegoers had come from places as far flung as Tamworth to visit Tumut Turf Club, which is one of the oldest racing clubs in NSW.
"We had horses travelling up from Victoria yesterday and we have people from all over, Canberra, out west, it's a very well known course and people do like to visit it," she said.
"The crowd was so well behaved and respectful. We had all the covid-19 restrictions in place and we were happy with how everyone adhered to them as best they could."
