One of them is the Twilight Self Made Market, which will be coming to Wagga for the first time on Friday from 4.30pm at the memorial gardens.
One of the stallholders will be carpenter and Factorem owner Daniel Croxton, who has been going "flat out" in his little workshop to keep up with the Christmas gift-buying frenzy.
"It's proving to be hard to keep up with it all. It's a good problem to have," Mr Croxton said.
"My grazing boards are very popular at the moment. Every time I make them I sell out of them right away."
In other news:
The pre-Christmas boost has been a relief for Mr Croxton, whose sales dried up when markets closed down around the country due to COVID.
These days he has been flat off his feet as restrictions ease and the Christmas rush begins in earnest.
On Saturday there will be the Rewild Community Market, this time with an "Eco Christmas" theme.
Local stallholders will be hawking their environmentally-friendly wares near the Visitors Centre, right along the Murrumbidgee River.
There will also be a yoga session, a return-and-earn, and a barbecue - all of which will be raising money for the Riverina And District Animal Rescue.
RADAR's Jess Weir said it was a way for shoppers to save the environment and Wagga's puppies and kittens in one fell swoop.
"It's a win-win, and you get a sausage. Who wouldn't want that?" Ms Weir said.
"It will be helping cats and dogs on death row in kill shelters or who are abandoned and neglected."
Rewild Community Market organiser Haley Tait said it was also a way for shoppers support local businesses and the environment.
She said stallholders had come up with a range of creative gift ideas to cut down on waste and save the planet.
"We've got vendors that range from beautiful flowers, eco-friendly home products, cutlery, and a local artist, which is exciting," Ms Tait said.
"They're all local businesses and hand-made local products, and we're encouraging people to shop local and ditch the plastic."
The Rewild eco Christmas market will kick off from 9am and go until 1pm.
