Brodie Stoll, 22, appeared via video link in Wagga Local Court yesterday after pleading guilty to multiple offences, including driving dangerously in a police pursuit.
On January 26, police spotted Stoll driving a stolen car along Tobruk Street in Ashmont.
After he failed to stop, they pursued him through Blakemore Avenue, Moxham Street, Ashmont Avenue, the Sturt Highway and then onto the Olympic Highway.
At one point, Stoll reached 130km/h in an 80km/h zone when trying to escape.
After attempting to turn into Yentoo Drive at Glenfield Park, the car slid across the intersection onto a footpath.
Officers ended the pursuit due to concerns residents might be using the path.
After evading police, Stoll then pushed his way into a home on Dalman Parkway, telling the resident "I need you to help me".

He demanded to use the phone and be given a shirt and refused to leave until being picked up by another person.
Magistrate Christopher Halburd said it was a "very sad sentencing".
"We are dealing with a very young man ... he was 21 at the time of the offence," he said. "He has amassed a very unenviable criminal record starting back in 2012. I accept that the defendant had a deprived upbringing."
Mr Halburd added Stoll had a substance abuse issue since the age of 12 and acknowledged his life was thrown into "turmoil" after his mum died in a car accident.
However, he said Stoll placed other citizens at "grave risk of injury or death because of the way he decided to drive".
Stoll was given a combined sentence of two years in prison, with a non-parole period of 14 months. He is eligible for release on December 23, 2021. Stoll was also disqualified from holding a licence for three years.
Mr Halburd spoke directly to Stoll and warned him if he continued to behave this way he would end up in prison for even longer.
