POLICE have charged a woman allegedly caught drug-driving with a stolen Wagga street sign in her car earlier this week.

A 28-year-old woman was stopped in a Holden Barina hatchback just after 4.30am on Monday morning along Cameron Street, Ashmont, by Wagga Highway Patrol officers.
Police determined the woman's driver's license was suspended due to a previous positive drug test. After testing the woman again on Monday, she allegedly produced another positive result.

A search of the vehicle revealed a stolen street sign from Tatton on board.
The woman was placed under arrest and taken to Wagga Police Station for secondary testing.
The street sign was seized and returned to Wagga City Council, while the woman was issued a court attendance notice for drive whiles suspended and good in custody upon return of the secondary drug test results.
