TRAC are yet to taste defeat in the schoolboy rugby union competition while Kildare's only loss came at the hands of their grand final rivals.
Kildare fell one short last season when beaten by Mater Dei Catholic College in the inaugural running of the competition.
Once again they come in as underdogs, however captain Will Moloney is confident they can cause an upset.
"I think we've got a lot of young players and every week they have been getting better and better and are learning the rules of the game," Moloney said.
"We only have a few actual rugby union players but we are starting to get used to it."
TRAC scored a 22-7 win when the teams met a fortnight ago.
There was little between the two teams at half-time before TRAC drew away in the second stanza.
Their strong record is a confidence boost, even if it adds a little bit more pressure.
"I think there is a bit of pressure that comes with it and the expectation you have to hold up but I think we will just treat it like any other game and try our hardest," captain Jock Heeney said.
"We've had some good, hard rugby played in the last couple of weeks against Mater and Kildare so we'll look to repeat the same performance we did a couple of Thursdays ago and hopefully get the win."
TRAC put in another strong second half performance to down Mater Dei last week and they've strengthened their line up with Harry Hayes and Angus Randall back in the side.
Heeney is looking for another strong performance at the breakdown to continue their winning formula.
"I think getting numbers at the breakdown and securing the ruck will play a big part in winning the game," he said.
Discipline is one thing Moloney is looking for Kildare to improve.
The side's frustrating tendency to release pressure and give their opponents possession has hurt them and it's not something they can afford to do in the decider.
"(Last time) at the breakdown we weren't cleaning out so we were pretty much just giving them the ball and we give away too many stupid penalties for high tackles.
"As they are all leaguey boys they are all going up high but we've had a lot of training runs and are starting to get used to it."
The clash is at Conolly Rugby Complex at 6.30pm.
Mater Dei and Kooringal High play off for third at 5.30pm after a repeat of last week's clash between Wagga High and Wagga Christian College kicks off the night of at 4.30pm.
