Randy Feltface was back in action at the Riverina Comedy Club, his first performance in the city since last year's Wagga Comedy Festival.
"It is so great to be back in Wagga," the puppet told The Daily Advertiser.
"I love it here so much. It is the best."
The organiser of the monthly comedic event, Dane Simpson, said it was great to have Randy back.
"To have somebody on that calibre come to Wagga is awesome," he said.
"We get great talent, and every show is just killer fun.
"We also get to celebrate our local performers who get to share the stage with Randy Feltface, Tom Gleeson, Bob Franklin."
Mr Simpson said it was tough to imagine just how the Riverina Comedy Club could continue with venues requiring strict adherence to social distancing rules.
"We have moved over to the Civic Theatre, and the staff are so amazing, and they have done nothing to support us," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Comedy is very inclusive and intimate, but we have to be distanced from each other and the stage.
"Sometimes when there is too much distance between the crowd and the performer, it creates an us versus them feel, but I think if that is the small price to pay for an incredible experience then so be it."
The next Riverina Comedy Club show after Saturday night will be on December 19. For more information click here.
